Syracuse, N.Y. — In his post-game remarks after Syracuse defeated his St. Bonaventure basketball team 79-66 Tuesday night in the Carrier Dome, Mark Schmidt identified a turning point in the contest. "We lost the game between the 10- and 5-minute mark with them taking us off the bounce," Schmidt said. Syracuse's determined thrust into the lane happened earlier than that, but Schmidt made a significant point: The Orange was better Tuesday when players attacked the basket.
